Feeling the gentle kiss grace upon her own lips, a spark was ignited, as she clenched her right hand into the fabric of her jacket. Her cardinal urges were screaming at her, but she’d decided to take a different route and reciprocate the genial kiss back at him, for however it long it lasted, maybe a few seconds seemed like an eternity to the louse. Her insides were alit as a seeping passion was struggling against her better judgement, supressing it for now and just letting the blood rush to her face, as it blushed exponentially.
“Ka..su…ka…” A faint murmur parting through heated lips, the female was not quite sure what to do next, so she just went with her gut which could possibly play to her advantages or not, who knew. The worst he could do was pull away from it right? And that wouldn’t sting so much as if she would not do it at all. Swallowing harshly, before lifting her head back up. Her palms clasping his cheeks, before she herself kissed him once more.
This time deeper and with double the time than the previous endeavor he had seeked out of her. Parting from this second kiss, it was extremely hard to maintain her composure, feeling her heart start to race, her visage not showing any sign of her internal struggle. “I…I’m sorry…that was..rude of me…” If this was any other person, lets say Izaya she would already be on top of him, but Kasuka was different.
He actually had a decent soul, and a kindness to him that just made their exchanges so much more special and on the more cute side of things. Now she just couldn’t help but to indulge a little before leaning up once again, and peppering his cheek with docile kisses. A soft smile behind each one.

The only kisses that Kasuka could actually remember giving were ones to his family members and the silly childhood ones that you never really thought about but remembered fondly whenever you did. This one was, of course, so different from those ones, and he felt warmer and lighter and it was weird, considering he and Kanra didn’t know one another all that well. But she had grown on him so quickly, and wanting to kiss her had just come so naturally that he hadn’t given it enough thought.
It did seem to be the right action, however. His name being murmured by her lips caused him to him, quietly and as though he was trying to reassure her in some way. That was his only reply to her almost inquiry. Then she was coming closer again and he didn’t move, allowing her to take control of what happened with this one, and it was just as fantastic as the last one if not better.
When she pulled away, he breathed out slowly and carefully, the only sign of how affected he really was by this. Everything else about him was as icy as he usually was. “You don’t have to apologise,” he said, and his fingers resumed their previous actions of running through her hair once more. “I don’t mind,” Especially since he had technically started this all. The first kiss came down to his actions and the second hers.
“Did you?” He wondered, as in, mind the kiss. Although he would say ‘no’, considering it was both reciprocated and repeated by her own actions, he could never be sure. Good at reading others as he was, sometimes they managed to surprise him, and Kanra was definitely one of those people.

“Well…Ilikeyoutoo…."
”Really–?“
”.. Thank you. I’m glad.“
And deeper and deeper she had fallen, feeling his gentle digits in her long ravenesque strands of hair, the blush over her features became a little deeper as he had offered to share his own drink. “No thank you…” God why was this feeling so weird to her? Her stomach had felt like it was going to burst from just the mere excitement alone. Chewing on her straw even more, before she simply set the now empty cup down and to the side of her body.
“You can go ahead and finish yours…” Chuckling once more as she felt her hands start to tremble, before she clasped them and set them down onto her midriff, pulling her shirt down a little bit. It had seemed odd to Kanra that so far that were getting along remarkably well, a few months ago this would have not been the case. Had she really changed that much?
So much so that it was noticeable to everyone? Including him? The breeze blew once more, as a few strands concealed her pallid features to the other. It would seem that her thinking spot lived up to it’s name as her mind was now racing with diffferent thoughts, but she’d need to substain her urges. It was so tempting to be herself around him, her lecherous side, never faltering that smile on her features however it concealing any thoughts she may have had towards the other. Cardinal oculars gazing upon his own before adverting her gaze. “I’m sorry if I’m staring..I didn’t mean to…”

It felt like a picturesque moment from one of his more romance inclined films, though he hasn’t foud himself feeling as detached as he does during them. Rather, there was a warmth in his chest that was encompassing him as he looked down at the woman lying on his lap, and he wished he could smile just so that he could direct it at her rather than giving her the usual blank look he wore. “Okay,”
One hand kept the drink hovering in the air, the other still running through her hair. It didn’t take him long to set the cup to the side, having finished it slowly. This was the most comfortable he had been in a while, he realised, and it was weird to know that it was with someone who he probably shouldn’t be getting along with but did anyway, and what would his brother think, he wondered.
Kasuka nodded once, said, “You don’t have to apologise,” Especially considering he was doing the exact same thing, and felt no remorse in the action. People tended to stare at things they found beautiful, didn’t they? So he could excuse his own actions, if only slightly. “Just.. if this isn’t okay..” It was a moment’s decision, and he barely understood that he was actually thinking it, but then he tilted himself forward, leaned towards her and pressed his lips against hers in the softest kiss he had ever given someone. It was only quick, and he soon pulled away if only because he wasn’t sure if it was actually okay with her. But he had done it; he had actually kissed her.
He felt like he should be blushing.

Kasuka doesn’t think he’s ever felt heartbreak before.
There have been times where he has been hurt and his chest simply ached or the times when he was affected by something so much that there was an underlying sadness to everything he felt for a while. There has never been a reason for him to feel heartbreak, since nothing has ever caused it before – he has never been close enough to someone, minus his brother, for them to be able to hurt him like that.
Then Kanra speaks those words, the ones he didn’t ever want to hear from someone he held close to his heart, and he can feel his chest practically splitting in two. He raises a hand to his chest, just to see if it had actually happened and he was currently bleeding out, but no such thing had happened.
He’s still whole.
Then he looks back to Kanra, where her head is once more laying on his lap, except this time they’re at home and there’s a kitten in her arms and it’s had so much affection from the both of them today that he’s surprised it hasn’t tried to run away yet. His hand pauses from where they had been running through her hair, a now familiar gesture, and he’s completely frozen.
“Don’t—” he says, and there’s almost a desperate tone to that single word. “Don’t say that,” There have been threats on his life before and he doesn’t want to involve her, doesn’t want her to take those words seriously and get hurt because he couldn’t protect himself. If that happens, he thought that he really would break in two and there would be no way to glue himself back together.
“Don’t say you’ll leave me, Kanra.”

It’s Kanra, his mind supplied, though he didn’t get close to saying her name out loud before there were fingers in his hair. It gave him pause, and he didn’t move as she leaned closer. Then there were lips on his cheek and he practically melted under the combined touch of her fingers and lips, finally managing to murmur, “Kanra–" and if he was surprised by the sudden show of affections, he didn’t express it.
The female had indeed noticed that his sienna colored irises were focused on her, making the woman blush a little bit, before locking with his own gaze for a moment. “Kasuka…..” The words oozed out and into the breeze, before she suddenly shifted her head to lay down into his lap, chuckling a little bit. “You’re just a big dork….” Kanra had said before taking her index finger and tapping his nose with it.
Sure he was emotionless, but it only added to his alluring charm that he’d given off to certain people, and others not so much. Clucking her tongue on the roof of her mouth, before turning her visage away from him for a moment to take another sip of her own drink. It was almost gone by this point, she would have to make sure to get this the next time she went to the cafe.
A smile curling onto her lips, before gently she lowered her lids to a close. Her breathing was paced, yet steady as was her heart, the breeze however was genial against the bare skin of her arms and felt mild and nice. If this was a date, it would have been the perfect one for her, just to relax, hardly any sound traveling all the way up there.
The sun shining, the clouds forming and billowing above, and a cute actor to boot, that just so happened to be her creators nemesis’s brother. Shifting her lids open once more, before turning her head to focus on the other. “Hey…” Said softly, “How are you liking that drink?” That blushed shade still present on her cheeks, this would truly make for a happy and decent moment in her lucrative life thus far.

When his name was spoken, he paused in his drinking. When he realised he had been caught staring, the actor looked away for just a moment, and if he had been anyone else there would have been a blush on his cheeks. “Am I?” He wondered, looking down at her and the new position she laid in. Curiously enough, he didn’t mind it – being so close to someone else, or having him in a vulnerable position, and he wondered why.
The hand that wasn’t holding his drink moved from beside him, instead allowing his fingers to tangle in the dark tresses of her hair, running through them in what he hoped would be a soothing manner. It seemed appropriate, all things considered, and he couldn’t quite help himself anyway. If she minded, he would move his hand back, but for now he was content with this.
If it were possible to become so attached to someone so quickly, Kasuka had no doubt that it would apply to Kanra. Once more his eyes would not move from her, and his head was tilted down just so he could watch her and see how peaceful she looked, and it felt weird in a completely fantastic, okay way.
Kasuka didn’t know how to smile genuinely and completely, not without it being an act, but he was sure that if he could, he would be smiling right now. One of his brightest and happiest and most content, for sure. “It’s good. I like it,” he said, and then tilted the cup towards her. “You’ve almost finished yours. Do you want to share the rest of mine?”
